This is going to be at least four years of one big fuckin exercise in Kremlinology Big Sammy got parcel-post from Chicago. It's WORLD AIDS DAY and Obama crossed me up huge. I was sure he wasn't going anywhere near it. I checked out his policy papers on AIDS prevention and there was an emphasis on condom usage and needle-exchange with no religious palaver. That's rad.

But how does he recognize World Aids Day, by showing Rick Warren his ass and requesting no condom be used, for the 14,000th time. Bush's humanitarianism and Gawd, of course. It's a pattern with this fuckin Obama. Two guys like Warren who totally blind-switched him at the Saddleback Debate and Lieberman who trashed him at the RNC and on every chat show...well, he just treats them like a pair of King Tuts now doesn't he?

He's allowed to do this. Obama's a pol. This is his job. He does it well. Nobody wins any votes by being the "fag" or the "junkie" candidate. I get it. I don't have to like it nor to I have to cheer for it nor do I have to assign it MSM categories like "transfomational." Just smells like homophobia to me. Oh, speaking of which, Rev (Reformed Homosex-u-al) Donny McClurkin, gospel singer and homophobe par excellence, has been back on the team for a while but nobody told us.


What's up with that? Obama's definitely a hypocrite. He's certainly able to lie brazenly. But Warren and Lieberman? It's either love, or masochism, or self-flagellation, or fear. Whatever it is it ain't healthy and I think the President Of The United States should be psychologically healthy. One Nixon and one George W. Bush in a lifetime is plenty. Why do schmendricks like Warren and Lieberman scare President-elect Karen so badly but he's so willing to sabre-rattle at President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and Prime Minister Dmitriy Medvedev of Russia. Those guys are not Lieberman. They are in the "vete al carajo"and "khoui" business.


So, now we know from Christopher Hitchens, an Obama fan and Chavez hater, that the plans for the invasion of Venezuela are in place. Any idea Gregory Craig might have had of Obama scrapping Plan Colombia is now dead. It's back to the DEA running Plan Colombia with only two very esoteric voices of dissent: Rep Eliot Engel (D-NY) and Former Sen Lincoln Chaffee (R-RI). Colombian President Alvaro Uribe's Chavez-like bid to rule for life failed on October 31, term-limiting him in 2010, and Ingrid Betancourt has announced. Not sure if she'll run as a Liberal, a Green, or from Radical Union, but she's the nuts to win and despite the kidnapping she wants peace.


Ahh, South American center-left women heads-of -state. We've got Michelle Bachelet in Chile (much more on her). We've got Cristina Ferandez de Kirchner in Argentina. Ingrid Betancourt from the looks of things will be the Colombian president to begin 2011. And then there's Balbina Herrera of Panama. She's 2nd now in the polls with 31% to Martinelli's 36% to Varela's 17% to Endara's 6% and 10% split up amongst the minor candidates. This could be an effect of an all-out US propaganda war against her with empty claims that Hugo Chavez is funding her campaign and that she's "in league" with Manuel Noriega. That's pretty funny: 1) General election campaigns in Panama a publicly-financed 2) Martin Torrijos is her mentor; how could she be in league with Omar Torrijos's and Spadafora's murderer?

Considering that Gregory Craig is defending Former Assembly Speaker Gonzalez on charges (of which he's already been acquitted here) of murdering some US sergeant during Operation Just Cause, he's now completely marginalized and disqualified from having any voice on Latin affairs whatsoever. That means no one with a relationship with the PRD to introduce Obama to Martin Torrijos and Balbina Herrera, but you can be sure Powell and Gates will introduce Obama to Martinelli and Endara! This should be quite something.

That's the essence of the problem with a continent like South America or Europe. NO government suits Big Sammy's sensibilities. Now, imagine a Spanish-Portuguese-Italian-French-Hebrew-Arabic-Ladino-Cantonese-Mandarin-Patamiento-Indio-Hindi-Indigenio-speaking continent with by 2010 the possibility of four center-left women, five social democratic men (Chavez, Correa, Lugo, Morales, whoever creams Garcia in Peru), and two center-left men (Lula, Vasquez). That doesn't sound like Gates's kind of place, nor Lieberman's, nor General Jim Jones's, nor President Barack Obama's, nor even really Senator Clinton's nor Governor Napolitano's.

Panamanians have not forgotten Colin Powell. Chileans have not forgotten Robert Gates. I think Michelle Bachelet has a pretty good recollection of being dragged into the rape rooms god knows how many times a day for three years for the crime of being a center-left back-bencher when Obama's new BFF, Henry The K, solved the Allende/Letelier problems. Fun fact: Michelle Bachelet is an atheist.

All this means is that Obama's weak. If it evens means that. This could be bad Kremlinology. He could be for condoms and safe sex and needle exchanges. He could be for an allied trading relaionship with all of South America. What do I know? Probably deep down, he does. He's not Old Scratch. He's just weak like the rest of us. Wants to be loved by the ones that don't love him. Disrespects the one who does love him.

I think Russia and Venezuela should have enough firepower to hold off Big Sammy until MERCOSUR can decide on a "zanahoria o palo" cure.

But Kremlinology is tough with this guy. I want him to take off that false mask he wears and show me the real mask underneath already.

As our good friend "Gary's_Boner" says in times like these recalling the Hollywood Squares Game Show: "Well...I would have gone to Waylon & Madame for the block, but this could work out."

If a cat can look at a king, a homophobe can be transformational and a hawk can be a liberator. Or you could also end up with an ear full of cider, but that's another story for another day.





No matter what, there are two unequivocal good political bits of business. Michelle Obama is the first lady. She's bright and gift and has a great sense of humor. She also didn't fold up like a two-dollar suitcase and cry like Dick Durbin and Pat Leahy when she took some heat for having spoken her mind to Larry King. Perhaps, she, not Chavez or Medvedev will be the stopper on this even when the Senate's debating that all bar mitzvahs will henceforth be handled by Rick Warren. The REALLY REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT THING FOR GEORGIANS TO DO TOMORROW IS TO VOTE FOR JIM MARTIN FOR JR US SENATOR AND SEND THAT FUCKIN CHAMBLISS TO AN ABBATOIR IN MY OPINION, OF COURSE.

Tentative topic for next week's show is HIV/AIDS and this should be a keeper. Torrance Stephens brings literally the world of scholarship and international activism to the subject. I don't know about anyone else but I'm planning to start my homework on this one today, just to be prepared to LISTEN.
